Wow that's terrible news... he seemed fine at Sebring last month.
Dick was one of the guys I looked forward to seeing at the track, since I met him at the first IMSA GT3 cup races in 2005. He was ALWAYS smiling and helpful.
He will really be missed

WOW. What an incredible loss to the PCA club racing community. He seemed to be the normal amicable Dick at Sebring. My condolences to his family. Please let us know where to send flowers.

I am putting Dick Dobson on my car for the IMSA Challenge. That way I know it will be completely legal and He can keep racing with me... I can't run without him teching my car...
Dick, I Love You and Miss You!
GodBless and GodSpeed my friend!!

Hear hear.
I'll be doing the same for Pirelli Driver's Cup race at California Speedway, will see if I can get the whole paddock doing the same.
Dick was a truly great guy, always happy, always patient (even when us racers weren't).
My wife and I had the pleasure of spending an amazing evening over dinner with Dick in Salt Lake last year, we'll never forget.

Just noticed this thread.
This is truly sad news and a shock when we learned. Dick was a great guy and one of the primary reasons Nadine became a scrutineer. Always positive, always seemed happy, and really represented Club Racing and PCA very well. PCA has lost a great ambassador, a great person, and a great friend.
