I like Tony but they should do some measurements to see if he can squeeze into that beast.

Yeah, that was my first thought too Tony lost some weight in the off season, but to fit in Lewis' ride, he's going to have to cut off his arms and legs.

From the comments:

Slowhand, this event is sponsored by Mobil 1. I'm usre they have a lubricant that can get Smoke into the McLaren, right?

From the article:

Hamilton would drive one of Stewart's current Cup Chevrolets on the upstate New York road course, while Stewart would drive one of last year's McLaren-Mercedes MP4-25s.

I see what you did there.

The first question is, can Tony fit his fat *** in an F1 car?

Ray, I agree. Not sure he can fit in the car, but I would imagine they have something planned already and a booster seat for Hamilton. Should be interesting since the last time this happened it was JPM and Gordon at Indy. Is this really happening at WG? Would be funny if they set up for the long course (doubtful) and Stewart forgets to left after the outer loop.

I remember the Indy session and both drivers lost control at some point feeling out the cars. WG is not a good place for this to happen.

What's F1 time at Watkins Glen without the boot , ie NASCAR configuration, 1 minute? (irl runs about 1:33 with the boot iirc)

Does anyone know if we can get tickets to this event?

Anyway, it sounds like they'll be using the full course (including the boot) ...

"The demonstration run will take place on a different layout to the one on which Stewart has won a record five times in Cup, instead using the 3.3-mile configuration formerly used by IndyCar."
