Thanks to Linda @ Apex Performance
I recently purchased a new SA2010 Arai helmet which is predrilled for HANS anchor post installation. Since I had previously installed HANS anchor posts on several Bell helmets, I assumed that installing the posts on the new Arai helmet would be simple--that is, until I realized just how tight the liner fits in the Arai helmet shell.
After searching the internet, which revealed little specific information about the procedure for installing the HANS posts in an Arai helmet, and after placing phone calls to several Arai helmet dealers, including the vendor from which I purchased the helmet, I contacted Apex Performance by email. Linda at Apex Performance responded promptly to my email and encouraged me to call her. When I did contact her, she graciously and patiently talked me through the process. I completed the installation earlier today, and the excellent advice that I received from Linda made the the installation process much, much easier.
I want to thank Linda for sharing her expertise with me and acknowledge the support provided by Apex Performance to the Rennlist.com community.

Installing anchors in the Arai helmets is a challenge. We've had many customers just send them to us to do the installation.
Please keep Apex Performance in mind for your next safety equipment or Performance Friction brake purchase.
Thanks for the post and glad we could be of assistance!

Apex is awesome.
And on that note, I need to thank OGRacing. Literally 30 minutes ago, Brian put my anchors into my new helmet (Bell). And like you, I had not purchased the helmet at OG. As curious as I was to see how he did it, I didn't want to hover over him while he worked on it. Given the way shells are put together, it seems crazy that they do not pre-install these anchors on all helmets.
Nothing beats working 15 minutes from their Ashburn shop.

Another vote for Apex. They did the anchors on my Bell helmet and were great to work with on other items too.
Just this past Saturday, a fellow racer I recommended to Apex was raving about their service and sales prices too. Apex also sponsors PCA Club Racing and 944 Spec racing

Apex is the best.
I have been using Clark and Linda for years and they are the most stand up people I know.
They also provide a lot of behind the seen support to the clubs and events . I like to support those that support us.
P.S. they also give us Porsche guys a discount

+10 to the above. Linda and Clark have been active and supportive to the racing community for years.
They've been title sponsors to 944 Cup racing for several years, and this year they are a PCA Club Racing National Sponsor. They're both racers to boot. Great pricing and service, they are definitely one of my go-to vendors!

I'll put in yet another plug for Linda at Apex. They always go way above and beyond, besides being very nice people! Here's a gratuitous shot of my Spec car running their windshield banner:

Nice people, I've come to know and do business with them. They're clearly one of us.
Now I hear that they are also sponsoring the Docu-Drama day that we are looking forward to at Lightning. I'm hoping that turns out well for everyone!
