Default Anyone Use RLI Bio-Synthetic 5W40 Oil?

Don't want to start an oil debate, just looking for some air cooled racing or DE engines that use Renewable Lubricants, Inc. Bio-Synthetic HD SHP Motor Oil SAE 5W40.

I believe this oil was first developed for diesels, but it has a pretty good additive package and reportedly performs well in gas engines. The HD SHP 5w40 oil has been around for maybe five years and has some loyal users in the Audi world where the FSI engines were causing fuel dilution with their oils.

Thanks

Lots of good UOA's from the Audi drivers that have used it...I have no experience with it other than it was recommended to me by Terry Dyson, a well repsected lubrication engineer.

Hi Brant

I got the same recommendation from Terry. I agree he has a ton of knowledge and experience.

I've had mixed results with some other oils and I was hoping I would not be the first to use the RLI in an air cooled Porsche.
