I think they are shot, but all the friction of the stock bushings of the 928 suspension and those nice bump stops, give me all the control I need! I think if I put on some motons, I would be either faster or slower. I dont really know which.

Used tires, 20+ yr old bushings, why bother checking the shocks ?
Especially when the old 928 still turns near World Challenge times ?

He must be the best poker player I know, or a complete ........ well you get the idea.

I can attest to MK's shocks.....I do think he is speaking the truth in never having them rebuilt....

My used street Bilsteins now have 56 hours of track use on them and still pass the "bump" test nicely..but I do plan on having them professionally rebuilt-revalved once I decide on my final wheel-tire package....then I will get everything "tuned" as a package by Performance Shock at Sears....

This is something that I never worried about because the Motons on my RSA always felt right, and when I made shock changes, they always produced the results that I was expecting. I think that I will talk to Sachs about service intervals for the shocks on the 996 cup.
