Default Alonso Rates His Rivals (and Other News)

Don't know about you all, but I'm already getting excited about the upcoming Formula 1 season. This week, one of the news sources that emails me produced some very interesting articles. No doubt the most interesting for Rennlisters will be Alonso's opinions of his rivals.

Vettel: “Very fast and precise. If he is first in a race, he is difficult to stop.”

Webber:
“Experienced, calm and very consistent. It is very rare to see him fail.”

Button: “He has a great instinct for difficult races in the rain or with the safety car. This is a unique talent.”

Schumacher: “He is a champion, we all respect him and he is a driver always capable of surprising.”

Massa: “Very quick, knows the team and very hungry to win.”

Hamilton: “He is a great driver, and maybe the fastest at the moment in F1.”

He also goes on to speak about his lack of popularity, a famililar topic here on the forum.

Bernie Ecclestone needs to be perpetually bitch slapped. Not only do they NOT need to be doing 20 races, but he needs to be flogged for favoring a place like Bahrain over Imola. Sure the actual track at Bahrain is nice, but what was he thinking.
