Good news, we made it! If you did not get the email, see below. Also, for those who would still like to order, there is still time.

Dear Porsche Enthusiast-

Great News! We've pre-sold enough watches [80!] to make this purchase happen.
The club will be placing the order tomorrow [Monday 2.28.11].
In short, this is a large financial move for the club, so we needed to pre-sell them to ensure the success of the program.

You will be getting a highly exclusive 50th anniversary Swiss watch and contributing to the PVGP charities.
The slight profit that the club is making on these watches is all going directly to the PVGP charities.

So here is what we need to happen:

Please send a check, made out to ARPCA, for $275.00 for each watch you ordered.

ALL CHECKS MUST BE RECEIVED BY MARCH 10, 2011.

WATCHES SOLD AFTER MARCH 10 WILL COST $350.00

There are only 100 watches being produced, thus only 20 more available.
If you want an additional watch, please email me immediately and send payment for it to be received by March 10.
These remaining watches will be sold at $275.00 until March 10. Then, if any remain, they will be sold for $350.00.

The order will go to Luminox in Switzerland. Normal delivery time is 90-120 days for custom watches, so we should have these in plenty of time for the PVGP. Thanks again for your interest and support!!!

I really love the look of this watch and I'm considering ordering one. My concern though, is the size of it. Does the 47mm dimension stated in the specs typically include the outside edge of the bezel to the outside edge of the crown. Or is this 47mm dimension just the diameter of the round face itself?

Rick, I believe it is the the outside diameter. If you look at post #6 on page 1 there is a pdf with info. I think the pic on the pdf is actual size.

I checked out the PDF but I don't think that answers my question because printing it out doesn't show it full size. I'm pretty sure though that the face will be too big for me. I hope to see you and your watch at the PVGP this year. I'll be checking everyone's wrists.
