Paint or no Paint, help me decide
This weekend at Daytona I took possession of my new Stillo helmet. Trying to decided if I should paint or not paint the helmet. I have a couple of ideas that will leave a good portion of the carbon exposed but still can't decide if I should cover any of this beauty up with paint. Mike Savage is telling me I should paint it but he loves painting so that might be a biased opinion.

Some paint.
Keep some of the CF exposed but build up something to give the helmet some interest for all those incar shots we better see when the races are aired. The CF will look grey/black from anything over a couple of feet away.

It's badass already, but I'd go with some paint and some exposed CF.

Seth, just out of curiousity, why did you choose the Stilo helmet?

Some paint -- thin stripes etc. with the dark portions with the exposed CF.
Helmet looks really nice as it is, given your going to get some air time from afar, you want it to "POP" out on TV and light colored strips would fit the bill.
OR you could go with the Doctor's idea. I love this helmet...

Here's an example of what some light colored stripping can do for your helmet with CF exposed. THis is Kimi's from the McLaren days.

Thanks for the opinions so far. I like all the examples and we will see what I end up doing. I have some cool ideas that will build upon what most of you have said already.
No earmuffs because I have a couple sets of custom earbuds that are better than any earmuff system I have seen. They are great because when another driver wants to get in little spat over contact I can't hear a word they are saying.
Juan, I couldn't find much on it either but they have it in their 2011 catalog that I think you can download on the net. I have used multiple Bell Infusions and love them but this is a better system from the little bit I have used it so far. 4 holes on top total, 2 for forcing air in, 2 for letting hot air out and a channel that forces air inside the visor at the top that puts airflow onto the visor and in front of your face. Doesn't dry my eyes out with contacts either. Let me know if you want some more pictures of it or a scan from the catalog they sent me.
Been using Bell Infusions for the last few years and I have never had a complaint about them except they are heavy. The Stillo is lighter, has all the features of the bell, fit is a slightly better for me, and all the components are built into the helmet. The water tube, ear bud plug, and the radio plug are all built. This helps keep my mess of wires to a minimum when getting in the car. 20 second driver changes need less clutter.
Sweeeet, I just got mine in the mail today. Any reason you didnt opt for the ear muffs?
I was thinking of getting one but I could not find info on the interior setup for the blower. My brother is getting me a new Bell Star Infusion.
