I would check out Ontrackinsurance.com. They are racers and I know DE guys that use them. I think their rates are coverage are the best.

I don't insure my car, but that's because I stopped tracking valuable cars a long time ago.
I send everyone I know to OnTrack and they always thank me, even if they don't have to make a claim.
It's run by our kind of guys.

My one rule: I will not drive a car on the track that I'm not willing to walk away from if it is totaled. This means that I won't drive a students' car at its limit and will only pilot their car to demonstrate tips / tricks or driving the line that their car can do. Moral of the story is = the more times you track your car and learn and aspire to drive at the limit, the higher your risk of totaling the car.

^^Good Mindset^^
I sold my Carrera S and got into Club Racing when I realized that I was now going fast enough to wipe out my net worth!

Steve Katz from On Track Insurance is a fellow Porsche racer and instructor. He's very familiar with what goes on during track days.
I've used his program for DE days in my street 993TT. I know his program has a lower deductible of 5%
On track is fully admitted in every state. Including Ohio. I used them for a Mid-Ohio event.
