I would clean off the snow if I had the energy!
I spent a good part of my morning roof raking the snow off the house and stuffing pantyhose legs with calcium chloride pellets and then draping them over the ice dams that formed on our gutters.

And no, just because I drive a Boxster doesn't mean the pantyhose are mine.

It would be an awesome sled on the right hill.

Current Weather.com forecast (I think all our whinging is just inflaming the storm gods....):

It will be the beginning of a new month but the Northeast can not shake those winter storm blues.

A significant and potentially historic winter this Tuesday and Wednesday will not just take on one or two regions (Plains, Midwest), it's also going to take aim on the Northeast at the very same time.

This is such an expansive storm with far-reaching impacts. While snow falls in Oklahoma City for instance, a wintry mix of precipitation will also be sweeping across upstate New York and New England.

What:

A significant snowstorm will take aim on the Northeast peaking in intensity on Wednesday.

When:
The winter storm arrives in multiple waves beginning Tuesday with the heaviest of the snow beginning Wednesday morning and continuing into the wee hours of Thursday morning.

Impacts:
Although winds will not be as much as an issue in the Northeast, this upcoming winter storm still mean business. Upstate New York and all of northern New England can expect at least 10 inches of snow from this storm. Some spots may experience a snowfall nearing 2 feet!

This will likely be a heavy, wet snow and much like the snowstorm that struck Washington, DC last week, the weight of the snow could bring down tree limbs and power lines.

I'm getting numb to it. Another 6 weeks and it will all be a memory.

In parts of Texas. But not these parts!

We had a bit of rain overnight, followed by massive winds, followed by the temps dropping to 29F currently. Absolutely brutal, I tell you!

A friendly reminder for those with enclosed trailers to clean the snow off the top!
