Default Sparco Tide - Suede vs Leather

Which steering wheel grip material does the Sparco Tide glove work better with, suede or leather?

Or does the glove give great grip with both?

I ask because it would be great to be able to get leather since it will last longer. My race car does not have power steering if that makes a difference.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Scott

The gloves will work with either... You really should get the suede wheel. JMTC's

I have an Alcantara wheel and the Tides works great on it.

The Tide gloves work well on both leather and suede wheels. If you drive the car on the street, I have found a leather wheel will hold up better since you won't have gloves on when driving on the street. The oils in our hands seem to make the suede less grippy over time.

Here's some information on the Tide glove.

Alcantara, suede, or leather: these are very good gloves IMO.

Have both versions of the Sparco Tide: FIA seam on inside, non-FIA seam on outside. Love them both. Use them on the 6.2GT3 leather and 7.2GT3 Alcantara. Very good grip on both.
