Grand-Am is UNFAIR!!! Daytona Testing Results...tongue in cheek

Default Grand-Am is UNFAIR!!! Daytona Testing Results...tongue in cheek
Sorry, had to give you Porsche guys a hard time after reading all of the complaining around here after the Daytona 24 even though a Porsche ran the fastest lap of the race in 2010.

Now, in pre-24 testing, the top 6 GT cars (and 8 of the top 11) are all non-tube frame Porches. WHEN WILL GRAND-AM STOP BEING SO UNFAIR TO PORSCHE?!?!?!?!

Does anyone really think the top 6 GT cars will be Porsches anytime OTHER than a practice? :-)

Daytona is a unique track and performance there is not always indictive of a full season of performance on varried race tracks.

I believe Leh set a new GT track record (I know it's only practice) if I heard correctly on the Speed CH.

Im sure Grand Am will find something to slow the porsches up after the others start crying. I heard the ferrari looked hot, oh wait it was on fire lol!!

...sandbagging in Grand-Am? perish the thought....not only that....the tube framers will now get concessions and the Porsches will have to run more weight and they'll have ride heights higher than a monster truck.

The word is that the track is about 2% faster with the new surface.

Porsche is always fast in practice and testing, everyone else sand bags. Wait till it's for real and Porsche will not be in the first 4 rows. Hope I am wrong.

Everyone thought it was going to be much faster. Couldn't tell though until the end of the weekend.
