Talent is not all that makes you famous in Pro racing.... Such a shame! Way too many greats get passed over because of the "Other Side" of racing.

I read a copy that a friend procured recently after he was instructed by Tommy at Mid Ohio. Tommy is still a still an instructor there, if you take the NASA race school, it's actually the Mid Ohio group of instructors.

Thanks. I didn't know he had written his story. I have used Tommy a number of times for coaching and IMO, he is the BEST coach out there. Easy to work with (though sometimes challenging to get through the accent), very knowledgeable and very interested in helping you improve. He is the guy who told me I could take T1 at MO flat in my last car and he was barely right.

I have also been around him for dinners, etc and he is a hoot to listen to.

Great book, and Tommy is a really good guy. I had the pleasure to co-drive with him and Tony Kester in a Spec Miata race last October....huge fun.

Met Tommy at the Mid-o school. Seriously talented, and a real pleasure. I learned that patience can be a driving skill.
