I've seen lots of posts on four post lifts in this spot, so I thought this was worth a try. I recently had a four post lift installed, but due to the angle of the approach ramp and a couple of bolts keeping it in place, clearance is suboptimal. I need to put together longer, more shallow angle approach ramps, preferable something more reliable than stacking boards. Has anyone here confronted this, and if so, any pictures of your solution?
Thanks much

Are yours not detachable? I upgraded from the steel to aluminum ones a heck of a lot lighter.
You can see a picture here where I bought the lift http://www.rhilifts.com/products/par...ccessories.php

I have a BendPak 4 post and my 968 and 996 have no issue's moving up the standard ramps. The 968 is relatively low and does clear with ease. Have you tried adding a 3 foot length of 2 x 6?

Maybe a set of race ramps? They would be super light, and you can just stand them against a wall and keep them secured with a simple bungee cord.
