I simply use GAS ! My car has a matte wrap and I had no issue using race fuel... although it is still very easy to take it off with 94 gas. ;o)

Seriously do not waste your time on any other product...go out and get a spray bottle of SIMPLE GREEN! Spray it on and wait a few seconds and the rubber will hose off. If it's a few events old you MAY have to actually wipe it off. It is cheap, and nothing, and I have used most everything that works better, not toxic, easy on paint and won't loosen your stickers...
+1, tried a bunch of different cleaners including autobody grade tar+adhesive remover which is mildly dangerous for the paint and nothing works better than simple green! Even if you haven't waxed your car in awhile, and the rubber is a month old, spray some on a rag give it a couple of wipes and voila!

+1 on Rejex, stuff is amazing... rubber doesnt stick and it is actually a good "wax" too

It's a good way to make sure you're properly hydrated as well.

I've tried that on all the cars that beat me, they are always the cleanest cars in the paddock the next day.

I use optimum polish and a rotary or orbital buffer. Usually the rotary. Saves me the elbow grease and also makes subsequent removals easy since I buff the car after every event.

I really like Stoners Xenit, followed by Tarminator.

WD40 works (I used to buy it gallons at a time when my son was karting) but you should clean up afterwards with Xenit (or a citrus based cleaner... Or a product like quick detailed or Motul was n shine or spray n shine) to remove the wd40 residue.

Cleaning a kart really prepares you well for cleaning a car...trust me.

A friend turned me on to FastWax. Used with a microfiber towel works fast & easy, and leaves a clean/waxed finish in the process. I've actually cleaned my entire car at the track with it in about 30 minutes. But mostly use to remove the incidental tire rubber marks.

so thats where all the funny looking yellow headlights come from...

Nu-finish or any of the other cleaner waxes work. I don't bother until it gets thick enouogh to just peel off. The marble streaks protect the paint from all the bug splats.
