Yeah, they are talking about 15k rpm , 800ps, twin electric turbo motors (one motor for the turbo itself, presumably to keep it on boost?).

We shall see..

The original 1.5 liter turbos sounded awesome back in the day so maybe the new ones will also thrill.... mind you the renault and bmw turbos were making 1000 plus HP for qualifying.

Hearing that at the LBGP as a 16 year old kid was an experience. You could hear it over everything else no matter where it was on the track.

I don't think the new engines are going to sound anything like previous F1 Turbo engines. It's a good thing Bernie is losing his hearing...
