I'd love to know more about the aero science that went into this (if any). I used to think of good aero as being simplicity and flowing lines, but then you look at where F1 has gone in the past 25 years.
The R18 looks like aero is an afterthought, expecially compared to the Peugeot. Is Peugeot still in the P1 game?

I don't claim to know more about designing an endurance racer than Audi, but, IMO this car will get smoked by the Puegot. Why? The idea of less power and weight, and more grip, is only useful in qualifying. Once the race begins it's all about power and straight line speed. These races are won on the straight parts, because the slower cars disable any handling advantages.
