It amazes me how polarizing the 458 is. I was really left wondering how I'd feel about the car in person but I thought it's stunningly gorgeous once I got my first look at it. My favorite feature that's overlooked is the air intake behind the cabin - that line isn't really as forceful on the eye in pictures as it is in person. I wonder if some of the features on this car are like that, too.

This quote no doubt relates to this version of the racer. Once the teething problems are ironed out it WILL be a beast. Watch out.

No matter whether you are a car enthusiast, Ferrari enthusiast or just a person who is interested in beautiful things and/or design, that thing is so beautiful.
Piece of art.

The question is whether Porsche will try to compete legitimately through design changes, or rely upon rule makers to handicap the new fezza in order to allow 911s to be competitive. One of Porsche's motorsports guys recently commented that the ACO appreciates having cars with engines in various places (front, mid, rear) thereby implying that they would help the 911 if needed to keep it racing.
918 RSR anyone????
