Default Removing Sctraches From Carbon Fiber/Clear Coat

I'm looking at a used good quality carbon fiber rear upper wing for my car. The wing has some noticable scratches in the finish. Is it possible to have it sanded down by a body shop and have the clear reapplied? Are there any special skills/considerations required because it's CF?

Thanks,

JF

Have a body shop sand and clear it and you're good to go

If these was some perfect factory high dollar baller wing then you can use different types of clear made for CF with UV protection but for a track wing just do what i said above. Worked on my getty wing just fine

CF brakes down very quickly when exposed to UV for long periods. Make sure there is a UV inhibitor in the clear that's used
