Head out to the desert, look for a small mound of sand with buzzards circling overhead ... That should be him, along with Luca's footprints....

Well, there were some of the Michelin factory test drivers there too....but they were all from France. I know they invited me due to my scintillating personality, witty repertoire of French-government-bashing sarcasm, and prodigious appreciation for hot French women. Plus what Glen said (thanks, man...I guess I need to send you another check for those compliments ). I do know they also invited some select frolks from the US who are also viewed as "influencers" of potential buying decisions regarding track & ultra high performance stuff. this included Larry the Cable guy and DavisRiley, and it was great to meet & hang out with both of them. Plus, there were a bunch of scruffy journalists there for the launch as well, from all over the world.

So is he a "bachelor"?

Whb-I agree with VR, it was much better on track that I expected. Felt much smaller than I would have assumed, and sounded great.

Thanks for keeping us posted! I was about to buy some RE11s, but now I'm gonna wait.
Is this going to be designated an r-compound track tire, or a Max Perf. street tire?

No, it is a max perf street tire. One of the French factory drivers hinted that development was already underway on the PSC 2, however, since there had been such a leap forward with this new PS2 replacement.

We tested this tire against various competitors on identical cars (Audi TT, BMW M3, 997 S). The biggest difference to me was that the new Michelins were much, much better under hard braking & acceleration on a somewhat dusty, bumpy track. To me, they all handled transitions pretty well, although the Michelins loaded laterally slightly quicker and thus were able to take a set slightly sooner.

LOL....I had forgotten how noisy street tires really are!

Photographic proof that they let Vr out of country. Myself(on the right), Larry Cable(on the left) and VR(dead center) at the beach on Front of the Jurmerah Beach hotel.

We wangled a deal with Michelin to send a few people from Rennlist (and Corvette Forum).

They requested polarizing opinions and latex doused avatars

Dave could care less about the tires, he went just to get the pat down at the airport
P.s. Dave how was it getting the Glock through security?
