PM sent - front pads for 944 NA are configuration 0447, rears are 0345.

We are working on updating the matrix. If folks see something not listed, they can also request a quote or email us.

Brakes are to slow the car down. Thus not needed on a 944 n/a.

Agreed - but Tech requires us to install them anyway !

(I've always said the Hawk contingency we get is at the wrong end of the pack. They pay for 1st and it's last that are using their products the most !).

Quick response from Apex as usual - great bunch to work with.

2 thumbs up for Apex, Linda and Clark. They support PCA, have good inventory, good prices, and fast shipping.

I'm one of the guys in back wearing out his brakes. For the 944NA is there anything for the front besides 97 compound like 01 or 08?
And thanks for the great service on my GoPro order.
Cheers

Default PF Pads for your 944

Randy,
The pads for your car come in 97 , 01 and 06 compound.
The 01 has the most aggressive bite with improved modulation.
The 06 compound is very similar to the 01 with excellent release and control but lasts longer.
I spoke with a PFC engineer who recommends the 06
for your application.

Here is a link to the complete compound descriptions

Any ?? ask away.....I have the PF engineers cell phone on speed dial.

GO STEELERS is a big 10-4. I moved to Dixie but part of my heart will always be in the Burg.

Not trying to hijack this thread too much BUT ...

at TraqJunk we make 2 brake-related items which can be very useful.

Rennlist people love these products
  • GT3 (996&997) and other high-performace P-car Brake Tool to ease the process of removing the Pad Retaining Pin. ($49.95)
  • Pad Spreader -- in just a few seconds you loosen the pads from the calipers and they come right out -- even if the brakes are hot. ($39.95)

Free shipping to Rennlisters!
