968 room in tunnel?

968 room in tunnel?
How much room is under the center tunnel in a 968? Too many heat or other shielding to see up there.
I'm in the process of installing a fire system and was planning on using short metal screws to hold the aluminum line along the top passenger side.
Assume the shift linkage and torque tube should be more in the center, where does the fuel line? Any wiring?
Thanks

The only thing in there is the transaxle and the exhaust (and all it's heat shielding)
The fuel lines travel under the passenger seat, not in the tunnel. There is no wiring or other stuff to get in the way.
The transaxle is enclosed in the torque tube, so if you screw through the tunnel and the screw hits the torque tube, no harm will be done.
Take a look in our own 968 forums:

Well just finished up the install, one nozzle in the engine compartment, one at the drivers legs, and one covering the rear fuel tank. The pull in the center of the radio was and halon tank hanging from the cage behind the passenger seat.
