New Inexpensive HD Camera (RCA EZ2000)
Just thought I'd share my discovery of an even cheaper way to shoot high-def in-car video... I picked up an RCA EZ2000 for $75, which can do up to 720p, works great, and is beautifully simple.

Just insert a microSD card and go shoot your video. There's a little wobble in my video because I just mounted it with rubber bands around the passenger headrest, but that's easily fixable and it's a minor issue anyway. Like most, wind noise is an issue, but there are ways to deal with that. The only thing it lacks, IMO, is a tripod mounting point, but at least it's small and easy to strap to something in the car.

Kodak for HD video
Here is another option from Kodak that uses SD & SDHC cards and has a tripod mount for $42 as a refurb product. Has 720p at 30 & 60 fps along with VGA resolution
