yes- Monticello will be excluding "most" clubs next year. If you own a Ferrari it may not apply to you.
Any NASA/PDA Instructors not going to the Glen please contact me regarding Instructing at Monticello with PCA.

I'm a member and have been told this recently as well. I've also been told that I'm the ONLY member who actually likes running with the clubs. I started this madness when I lived in the UK where 30-40 cars/session is the norm at most tracks (except Goodwood).

So I guess Monti has enough members to sustain the track? I find that really hard to believe. Would be a shame if only members can run there -- it really is a fine track and very close to North NJ, where I live. And I don't have the $100k or so to plop down to become a member....

@Gofish: I plan on being there with PDA as well to instruct. Will sign up this week.

@Krulewitz: Yeah, it's been some time since I've done an NNJR event -- was saving all my bennies for the kitchen redo, which at this point is 83% paid! ! (And now that the kitchen is out of the way, it's time to save up for a new P-car! )

Not enough members but some pissed off members I would think. They say they allowed the clubs in to introduce the track for prospective members. The clubs pay alot of $$ but that is not their focus. By the way bb993tt your car is awesome. You were one of the few that passed me. I looked your car over in the Clubhouse garage. I thought there were many members that enjoyed the car interaction with other Clubs. Be sure to run with the NASA event Sept 17th at Monticello.

^^ Thanks, it's a lot of fun on track, even though it's still a work in progress. I really can't speak to what other members do and don't like, just what I was told. I enjoy the on and off track interaction with the clubs, but that's just me. And I've been able to put more than one face to a RL username there. I'll definitely try to make the NASA event in September.
