I can attest that both Louis and Frank are hard and clean drivers, gentleman on and off the track. Louis earned the pole, Frank the race. That's just how it happened.

I'm sure they are, and I was really sorry to hear about Louis having a visual impairment, that's nothing to joke about...

Luis is an accomplished bicycle racer, and I knew that I could trust him. At no time was I worried that he would do something erratic or unsportsmanlike. For that reason I was confident racing close to him, and I told him afterwards that I enjoyed racing with him. No question he left certain opportunities open for me, and that's what I exploited, but that was all just part of good racing and I loved it. I can't say the same for all Club Racers that I've come across.
Moreover, that lap record that I set held up for exactly one day. It was reset on Saturday by a one; Luis Vierra. Apparently, it took him all of two days to get used to a new car.
My only regret is that his car then got damaged and now we don't know when he'll be back. A little encouragement here would help.
Lastly, thanks Vito, your little off won the race for me as it forced him to gap.
Oh, and one more thing: had Ron Cohn not broken an axle on the grid it all would have been different. I can't imagine all three of us going at it like that!
Cheers guys, and wait until I post day 2!

You might as well take the steering wheel out and put a hatchet in there instead.

Wait, "equalize"? I thought all the turbo guys were cheating?

Maybe if you hit an apex every once in a while you would really beat my *** bad! I'll see if Limerock will let me paint some arrows for your next outing..
A SP3 turbo is basically E, if not D+. IMHO Believe it or not

Lime Rock is an equalizer for the S2. We don't fare as well on the long tracks.

All this racing stuff is very complicated. And whenever you guys want to give
me some pointers I will appreciate it.
Peace
Nice to see everyone playing nice again. Couple of good drivers there. Not bad for Lou's first day ever in the 951 (he swapped his red S2 for that turbo).

BTW Lou, that Black Lab is not our buddy Jack.

Mike - I believe a stock, unprepared 944T would be in E but depending on the level of preparation for SP3 (allows quite a bit IIRC) it would be prepared F at least and at best Prepared G (as my friend Dan Ryall's Mobil 1 car is). Have no idea where Louis's car sits in there. I know for GTS2 I can do a LOT to my car's suspension, gearing, and bodywork that would bump me into a PCA GT class.. and i'm seriously considering it as NASA at least gives you something to shoot for..

Gary,

Lou's car would be PCA "F" now and possibly "E" were he to install pass seat (not sure about other mods that would render the car "prepared", i.e., "F" vs. "E").

Are you at LRP tomorrow (HVR D.E.)?

Ciao.
