Replacing Motive Power bleeder hoses

Bought quick connects and hose today at ACE thanks to this thread!
Put me into the "never put liquid into my motive" camp. Just don't trust myself to not screw it up and spill everywhere along with how much crap gets into my equipment just sitting on the shelves.

Hey there. Do you mind sharing exactly what you bought? One of my motive tubes seems to be wrinkled when it was stored and I would feel better to replace it. Thanks much

Burning Brakes
I can’t speak for OleMiss but I already had an air line plug and coupler as well as 4 hose clamps (#4). So I just bought 20’ of clear vinyl tubing (7/16 OD 5/16 ID) at Home Depot and a two pack of 1/4” barbed male NPT fittings (note that this required the air plug to be female NPT) from the auto parts store. I won’t need my brake bleeder for a while but I tested it by hooking it up to my car and leaving it with 18 psi of pressure for about an hour with no pressure loss so hopefully it will work well when next I use it.

Old thread eh?
After more than 20 years of using a Motive bleeder I built this little gizmo for bleeding in my garage w/ a regulator from Amazon, some brass adapters from the hardware store, and an extra hose/cap from a Motive bleeder. Connects to a shop air compressor, regulator to set it to 15psi-ish. Purge valve on the bottom to release pressure when refilling the reservoir or removing. I never put brake fluid inside my Motive anyhow b/c of the mess. Works fantastic and super quick to use.
Motive now lives in my trailer for use at the track if needed.
