Jenk, TuneRS Motorsports is bringing my car up with two others. They also provide full track support which will be nice for a change. Unfortunatley, 2 others scheduled to come up with us could not.

By the way I'm going to try and save the biggest chunk of real estate I can for all the Rennlisters. They open registration at 5, I'll be up there a little early. Look for all the cones (small ones).

I melted was left of my brain today. Sheeshk, it was hot today. 4 straight sessions in racecars and I thought I was going to pass out.
Besides whining about the heat, it is good to see all of my track buddies. Been a while, boys! Looking forward to another fun one tomorrow.

Jenk12m, 007dt, andredr, very nice to meet you guys in person!
It was hot, but it was fun. First day was tough with corded Hoosiers, but with the Fresh RA1's, shaved to 5/32 it was awesome.
My best lap time this weekend was a 1:3704 and I tried hard.
I ran myself out of breath and gas a few times. I could not complete 2 full sessions, my tank was empty every 45 minutes of track time, the 3.8 like gas. Chin sure gives you a crap load of driving time.
For the incredably bored only, this was the last session of the day:

lap 3-8 (A couple of 1:37’s)

lap 9-14 (Fastest lap for me this weekend lap 10 1.3704) Lap 11 (3:30 was about as exciting as it got this weekend.)

There were some awesome drivers there, a few BMW's (doginblack was one of them.) that were going around at warp speed. Many surely knew they where faster than me, but I kept getting point buys early and generously. Hopefully I have done the same. There was 1 BMW silver in the rear red in front. He points me by and 2 corners later I think there is another red on on my ***. Turns out to be the same one again. LOL!
I have a lot to learn at Road ATL still
O, I have no idea what's up with the camera at the end of the straight!

I didn't even burn through a half a tank of gas. It was one of those weekends for me. Alignment issue, steering issue and then a flat. Grrrrrrrr I got 2 time laps at 7/10th's all weekend, the rest were babying trying to figure out why my car was wondering all over the straights and my steering wheel was 20* left when wheels were pointing straight.

What a great track and a bunch of great cars/drivers. I bought my car last month and drove it about 150 miles before giving it to TuneRS for track prep and transportation. The GT3 is unbelievable I can't wait to drive it on Sebring next weekend.
Also, Henry at Colourtech took some amazing shots.

Actually TRAKCAR that was zmann. He bought my M3 in March, and he definitely has it hooking up now. I am fortunate to have good friends. I was in Pete's Koni 996, an E92 M3, an a GT3. I had a great weekend with everyone, DaveT, Dez, Mike, DavidR, Eric, Derek, Tom, and unfortunately only a wave and a point to DaveP. Special thanks to jenk12m.
