Default What are your corner speeds and shift points at BIR

I'm about to order a 2nd set of wheels/tires for DE's, which will be mostly at BIR. I'm going with track oriented summer street tires, for all the reasons stated many times here. The only real option in track oriented tires in stock 18" sized is RE-11's, but if I consider 245/275 widths in either 35 or 40 aspect ratio, several other less expensive choices are available. I wanted to find out if different diamaters, either slightly larger or smaller than stock on (front & rear, by a few %) would have any benefits or drawbacks in terms of good/bad gearing and shift points.

For anyone who's run a 5 spd 2.7 987 boxster or cayman at BIR, what are your speeds in 3 and 10, what gears are you in, do you shift from 3-4 through 6, and what size tires are you using? Also, what group are you in? I'd like to compare your answers to my experience which has been bone stock so far to see if it influences my tire decision.

Thanks in advance.

Jim
