Default 2001 996 V.I.P. Becker Cup Car

Posting for a friend.

Lowered price to $65,000! I can't imagine a better deal is out there for a comparable example. This car has been meticulously maintained and would make for a proud owner. Someone please buy this beauty before I use my home equity line of credit and need to hire a divorce attorney!

2001 996 Cup with many updates and upgrades. Needs Nothing. Car was campaigned by Porsche Mototrsports in Germany. No expense spared, no reason to when you are Porsche Motorsports. One of two V.I.P cars. All famous drivers drove the car. It was more of a marketing thing than a race to win campaign. Sam Hornish Jr was the last to drive the car at Indy in 2001. The car was sold in the US after that race since it was the end of the Supercup Series that year. Over 50k into this thing. Car is perfect. I think most of the work is described below. +1 I know the previous owner and the car very well and it is a steal at that price.

Even if it needs $10,000 worth of work, it's still a great deal!

It shouldn't. I hear it was driven once or twice since my friend sold it.

I was present during the 2 times it was run at NJMP member track day. The car is a beautiful example. The owner before my friend was meticulous and made sure everything was in perfect working order and went overkill in most cases.

I didn't mean anything negative. Sorry if it came out that way.

It is a beautiful car and I remember seeing Hornish drive it at Indy in the F-1 Supercup support race.

Is this the car that was listed at Deman? I was interested and Deman never returned my emails! Is the car still available?

Thanks,

Stephan

I am sure Rick is super busy working on cars and racing and doesn't have time to be a broker. Please call the owner directly, if you are serious.

I was also wondering what class this would run in with the GT3R tranny, RSR exhaust and suspension parts, 997 undertray, etc. GTA-1?
