Yours looks great BTW! But, around here only 1-3 cars, if that.

I'll plug this car again, having had a lot of seat time in it. Raced it at 4 events over the last two years and it never had a mechanical issue. Doesn't leak or consume oil. Put gas in it, set the tire pressures and go. Solid well built car. Wish it was time for me to get another race car.

Getting close for me to go mid-engine.
Closer, but not yet.

Not to worry, Joe, SP3 just fine with me for now.
Got a street Boxster anyway.

Wow I just noticed the "new" price. GLWS Scott. Anyone looking to get in to the series should definitely be looking at this car.

Boy, if it goes much lower I'll buy the dang thing for parts!

Someone really should buy this car. You can't build a SPB for less than ~29, even if you do all the work yourself including the cage. If you have someone else do the cage, you're looking at 32k minimum assuming an 8k donor car.

A strange thing about these cars is there are entire regions where there is almost zero participation. Sebring had seven and Road Atlanta has two. Texas is the polar opposite. Last time I checked there were 16 SPB out of 87 total racers. I suspect the west coast has similar numbers.
What is up with this class? Seems so natural; modern platform, cost containment and manageable running costs. So, what is the problem? Everyday there is another one listed. Maybe being PCA only and all the travel required to race PCA? Real men and the Chickster image? I felt that when I had a Boxster, but when I drove it, I loved it's handling.

This class is still growing very fast on the east coast. I know of three cars currently being built. Of the
couple that have sold from this area, mine included, most are staying close by. Scott's car is a great buy for the money. I cant see it lasting that long at that price.
