Cool. I just spoke with Joe Aquilante. Question for SCCA racers.
I made an email inquiry via the Phoenix web site asking about one of the cars they're selling (mostly a lark but maybe more) and 1/2 hour later I get a voicemail from Joe Aquilante! He was super nice and gave me some interesting info. I have Joe's phone number!!!
The car that piqued my interest is a 2008 Pontiac Solstice (SSB in SCCA) with almost zero miles on it. Fully caged, but not fully stripped. It's the 177 HP model. It is a few bits away from being street legal (windows) so it could be arrive-and-driveable. Certainly less maintenance/repair that a 22 year old 944.
I'd love any feedback, and input on a fair price.
