In only their second race since returning to the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patron, Andy Lally and TRG took a surprise pole position (1:24.098) for this weekend’s Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. Driving in the no. 63 Future Electronics/Freescale Semiconductors Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car with co-driver Henri Richard, both the drivers and team will lead the field in their first ever campaign at the famed street race.

Sort of. I mean it IS the 4th tier down in a multi-class race. Not like they've taken on, and bitch slapped, the LMP cars back across the Atlantic.............

Wow! Fantastic racing, exciting wheel to wheel action both in LMP and GT2. I only wish there were more cars in both classes, still very fun to watch
