My Boxster Spec cage
#32
Cage (and roof) are going to the paint shop today or tomorrow. Orange of course.
Kenny got my new Swift springs in and then needs to put the car back together again!
I am sooooo excited to try the car out.
This winter in addition to the cage....
There's still room to de-wire the car and lose even more weight. I'm not sure if Kenny pulled the rear wing motor etc etc. Since I'm not competing with the car this year, I'm not concerned. Frankly I don't think my driving is at a point where 30-40 pounds will make a difference. For me that's sometimes the difference between meals or bowel movements.
Kenny's also running Monticello on May 3-4 with his STi and 964. Sure you don't want to register and join us?????

This winter in addition to the cage....
- It lost a few hundred pounds (hasn't been weighed yet but frankly there's still room to lose weight and keep in spec)
- Fiberglass roof (9 pounds vs stock 50 pounds)
- S-oil cooler
- 3rd radiator
- Got stiffer springs
- GT3 'street' control arms x4
- Converted to 255 'square' tire set up
- Upgraded clutch and LWFW
- Fixed RMS (car had 9600 miles on it when I got it from my Mother! - hence dry seals)
- SSteel brake lines
- Maybe a Smartycam depending on timing
- And most importantly a Ridiculously Red Sparco suit from Santa, a HANS, and a collar

Hey Dave, it looks great! Here are a few of mine that I picked up from the cage builder last week and after putting the interior back in and painting the cage, I ran it this week at a PCA event @ NJMP Thursday. Does the top look familiar?
