Default Safety Solutions R3...need a deal

OK, I am ready to order a Safety Solutions R3 as this will work perfectly in my street car for DE's and also when I am instructing.

This forum is full of information and I have learned there is always a deal right around the corner. I am looking for a good deal for a R3 system so if anyone knows of a place for me to shop please pass it along.

Thanks!

Can I install the D-Rings myself? Seems pretty simple to me as I do not have time to ship my helmet off.

You can install the D-rings yourself. If your helmet is not pre-drilled, you will have to measure the helmet and drill holes with a 1/4" drill bit. We usually use some locktite on the screws as well. You can call us if you have any questions on the installation.

1/4"? I installed R3 rings last summer and the screw was around 3/16"
Hans anchor is 1/4".

The R3 mounting holes are smaller right now but I believe they will be making all the posts the same size in time since most helmets are now predrilled for Hans which is 1/4".
