My Spacro neck colloar is done and need something new.
Is there anything better than the Sparco neck collar I have been using? I have the stock 3 point belts in my car and was wondering if there was anything on the market for a head/neck restraint that connected to your body and had straps to the helmet that I could use in my car with the stock belts?
thanks!
PS I know I shoudl get a bar and seats and 6 point system. My car is also a weekly drive by me...very tall...and my wife...very short and I do not fit in the Porsche new Sport Buckets with side impact air bags.

The best option I've seen is the one Marc mentioned.
The reason people use the R3 in that situation is that the system is entirely independant from the harness system.

+1 for R3. It is great to have a unit with safety specs in line with the HANS, that you can use in cars with 5 or 6-point harnesses or with just a 3-point seatbelt. I got one last year after I found my HANS was pressing on a nerve on the side of my neck/shoulder making my hand go numb.
I tried the R3 with and without the seatback pad - I don't bother with the pad any more, once in the seat I don't even notice the R3. I would suggest the light composite version with sliding tether (gives you more ability to turn your head to the side than the fixed tether - same with HANS). For what it worth I also tried the Safety Systems Hybrid and Pro and liked the R3 best, for me it is the most comfortable.

In addition to the R3, other wearable H&N restraints include the Wright and White devices, in addition to variants of the Hutchens...
