I got the PCA email about the new motorsport gear for 2010 and clicked on the link. I know licensed racing gear and anything with Porsche embroidered on it is going to be expensive, but $74.00 for a beach towel?!? $124 board shorts? $26 lanyards? Wow, I guess I should start racing a Honda or something

High prices for the early birds. By the time they hit Road America in the fall for the PCA weekend, the polo shirts will be down to $30

BMW Motorsport has similar prices...its all due to the licensing and import/buying in Euros. www.bmwmotorsportcollection.com (US based business btw)
There are some PCA regions with PCA merchandise that's pretty affordable, including some Mechanics gloves that some regions had.
$74 for a beach towel like that is not bad (retail wise, they all cost a couple bucks to produce no matter what the design is lol)...it could be hung on the wall too, or framed on the wall

I got the boardies from my wife for Xmas. I love the grey and white combo- but ouch- I hope she didn't pay that.
On the other hand if she's reading this (er, unlikely) my b'day is coming up and that Goretex jacket is hawt.
