Default PFC Compound for the BIG YELLOW calipers??

What are people using in club racing when using the BIG YELLOW calipers?

I heard 97's (compound in the front) and 01 compound in the rears?

Is this correct?

Thanks

If it were me, I'd also try 01's in the front & 06's in the rear...

I'm using 06 F/R. The front already has the majority of the bite, and 01F 06R would make the difference more pronounced. If you want to play with pads to equalize the brakes, 01 should go on the rear, and 06 front.
BTW, VR, can"t wait for Watkins Glen.....

Good timing on this as I just got off the phone with Performance Friction asking compound questions for my car...2009 Carrera S.

Since they do not make PF06 for my front calipers I was told to use PF01 front and PF97 rear. This would help with brake bias....or if rear bias is enough I could use PF06 rear but the PF97 grabs more than the 01 and especially the 06.

I am trying to decided if I just stick with Pagid Yellow or go with Performance Friction.
