What Spec Boxsters will be joining the BMWCCA race at MSR-C April 10-11?

How does BMWCCA deal with the SpecBox class? Do they just use the PCA rules for the cars? Is this the only non-bimmer class they allow in? And is this just something happening locally, or does it happen in other venues also?

I don't know much on the subject, but yes I believe they use the PCA(NASA?) rules, possibly with a few changes to meet some of our safety rules(like a mandatory right side net), but I'm not positive. Yes this is the only non bimmer class, if another group was interested it might be possible for them to join also. This is only a local thing for our MSR race, and possibly ECR.

Is BMWCCA doing a DE with this CR? I might be interested in coming out in my miata. I've never run CW before. And believe it or not, I'm actually a BMWCCA member...

CW is the best IMO, especially if you are a decent trailbraker. Some VERY visually deceiving corners going CW...I love it!

Anyone from the Houston area attending the MSR event this weekend? I have some wheels at PST that are in serious need of relocation to me here - now that I moved to Houston. Beer and gas money are involved.

PM or email td 837 at hotmail dot com.

I'm not making this event but I will be at the TWS NASA race in a couple of weeks. If someone could bring them to TWS I'd be happy to bring them down. You may want to ask Rob. I'll be with him that weekend.
