Hamilton finally admits he make mistakes/mismanaged rookie season
For my buddy Dez (Wanna911) 
and all the times he told me I was out of my mind about Hamiton. This admission is more proof that he is/has matured and is ready to compete and not worry about all the other stuff

I don't think that's anything that needs admission, his mistakes were pretty obvious and I haven't seen where he's denied them as the title would imply.
But as a rookie with the WDC title your for the taking and a WDC teammate hot on your heels, I can see why he thought he needed to lock up the championship and not leave anything to chance since he did in fact enter the season as the number 2 driver. I'll take over aggression over passive any day.
