when I was watching V8 supercars this past weekend I saw the tire cam they had. ridiculous. I wish I could trust myself enough to not run over curbs or I would throw a gopro down there.
I gotta say without blowing my own trumpet here because I'm an Aussie, but they have pioneered revolutionary camera angles for years down here. It all started with the Bathurst races many years ago. First commercial live in-car cameras probably 30 years ago. I have to also say that it's about the best commentary as far as technical knowledge goes too. IMHO. Plain speaking but good imparting of facts. Some race commentary is just crap.
Watching this tyre under load is amazing and not a little scary. Thinking that this track is run Anti clockwise, makes you wonder what the front RHS tyre must have looked like?!?!
