Laguna Seca March 4th and 5th
If anybody is interested, myself and a couple other POC'ers are heading to Laguna Seca March 4th and 5th. It's a FDR Motorsports/Trackmasters event. Thursday is a 3 run group day. Friday is 4 run groups. $410 for both days, $195 for Thursday. Here's the links. Advanced is open passing

And for any experienced drivers for whom those dates don't work (or you want even more time there!), we've got a private two run group day Tuesday 3/9 @ $280. 7 30 min sessions, open passing, no "slow" group.

Great! I'll probably leave Ventura around 1:00. I'd like to drop my trailer off at the track before heading into town. The gates close at 6:00.

Are you guys all driving your track cars up? Is anybody else pulling a trailer? I'd love to join the caravan, but I wouldn't be able to keep up. The Cayenne S can pull the speed, but the CHP isn't a big fan of cars pulling trailers at 80mph.

Towing with the Cayenne S
Craig,
The Cayenne S towed my C4 on my open trailer fabulously and yes it can get you in trouble. The 7700 lb tow rating is great. 100 MPH, solid and straight as an arrow. I was an early adopter, first event towed May of 2003. Black Cayenne S towing a Black Carrera 4 on a Black trailer. Great marketing for Porsche. Picture wound up in Lepzig on huge LCD's in a large Porsche meeting. I tow a TPD now behind an RV. The Cayenne does not tow the TPD as well because of the 920 LB tongue weight.
For those towing trailers to Laguna Seca next Thursday and Friday the paddock should be open at least until 7:00PM.

I'm now leaving SD at 8am. Stopping at GMG to pick up my car and load it on the trailer then meeting the others in LA to go the rest of the way to Laguna. PM me you info and join the caravan!

You bringing the Jaeger FDR? I will be holed up on the hill but will plan on dropping my trailer Wednesday.
If Craig and the boys from SD want to hook up I am pulling out of Ventura at Noon Wednesday. I run up 101 so If you want to caravan, I am in
