FordGT fastest lap was 2:05.5. Now, David Murry's LAST lap was 2:29, probably waving to corner workers. Heck Christophe Bouchut last lap was over 12:31, maybe he stopped for a smoke?

The test was used by Porsche to decide what specs to run that would make the 3 types of cup cars equal to each other. We did several comparison runs with the same fuel load, tires, and number of laps at the same time of the day so Porsche could gather all the data and make adjustments. They made changes Monday afternoon to the grand-am and WC cars and again to the WC cars on Tuesday. The ending specs are:

2010: 1205kg, no restrictor, any shock and spring
2008 WC: 1205kg, 63.5mm restictor
2009 GA: 1205kg, 65.5mm restrictor

All cars wil use the same size Yokohama tires (same as patron) and will be at the same ride hieght.

The ride height and tire set up are very different than what we normally run on the GA car. Had a few issues that cost us some set up time (broke a right rear hub and also had problems with the narrow yoko tires on our wide front wheels) but we have a few more things to try when we go back for the 12hr weekend.
