Default Lubrication Engineers Oil - anyone using it?

I have a 1993 911 Porsche RSA stock race car and am currently using Brad Penn semi-synthetic oil. I was thinking about switching to Lubrication Engineers 8800 oil which they tell me is better than Brad Penn. Anyone have an opinion on this?

*Finally*! I wondered when someone would hire some lubrication engineers to
make a motor oil.

Oil can be a religion, as you probably know. That's because most people
get by with whatever they are using. If there was a clear winner/loser it
would be obvious. If you stick to the motor manufacturer's recommended
viscosity for your environment/use, and use any top-shelf oil, and change
it as frequently as your use requires, it would be a rare and specific case
where anyone could factually argue that there's a better way.

I have heard that they make some amazing gear oil. But I don't know which models, they also may make some secret oil that you can't get? (NASCAR)

Their website may be out-of-date, but all they list that may be
relevant is in their generic passenger car oil section. Doesn't
sound special to me...

I used it all of last season. It was recommended as the absolute best by Guards when I installed one of their dif's last winter. Paul Gaurds said that he had seen a big difference in Porsche transmission that used Lub Engineers product vs. others. No complaints. Contact one of their reps, if you need any other information I should have it in my home office.

I also use LE for my Guard LSD based on Paul's Recommendation. No complaints after 2 years.

I got my oil from here: http://www.mag-hytec.com/store/

Yes, we do recommend LE gear oil. If they are making engine oils I would suspect that they are just as good.

If all they make is a 5 or 10w/30 then it's no good for most of our cars though. Unless they make other weight oils too?

I have not used it myself but I hear they produce an excellent product.
