And rebalance them for free as well. I took my set in and showed them that the weights had melted off my fronts, and they just said, no problem, they will be done in an hour.

But they wouldn't give me road hazard on them, ha!

Do any of you who have bought from these online places have your tires shaved? If so, where do you have that done?

Everything I've read is that the NT-01 does not need to be shaved to be fast (unlike RA1s). Tire Rack shaves tires that they sell. Radial Tire in MD will shave new tires.

Good, thanks. Tread Depot has RA1's priced pretty well ($178 for a 255/40R17), but they are back ordered. If they aren't available by the time I buy a set, that may dictate what I go with!!!!

I called onlinetires.com several times, either I was on hold forever or mostly it went to the answering machine, and messages weren't returned.

Went to the local discount tire store and they matched the price. Awesome!

Online tires seem to have a few ? marks hanging over their heads. I did by a set from them and I have to say I love the NT01s. Just a bit better grip than the 888s and not too far short of the Hoosiers IMHO. A great R spec tyre...just wish they made a few more sizes.
