Do it yourself! Not much there. Brakes, repack/replace wheel bearings. Rotate and balance the tires and you should be good to go, so to speak .

Alignment? I wonder how that works on a trailer. I think they have straight axels. Guess I should take a look at my owner's manual.

Edit: If you can cut Fred's roof out with the torch you can do this.

I would do it myself, but I have my hands full at the moment:

Talk about a time consumer, that is a major project.

Eastwood is surely your friend. They probably recognize your number on caller ID.

Good luck with the trailer and the car.

Question for you guys who talk about having to repack your bearings...

AmI correct in assuming that you don't have the E-Z lube axles from Dexter?

Even with EZ Lube you should still repack the bearings periodically. And use new seals each time. In Ontario a trailer safety inspection is mandatory on an annual basis. Frame, Tires, Lights, Brakes etc. are all checked. There is a recommended maintenance schedule from Dexter Axle.

HERE is the Dexter Axle tire wear guide.

If anyone in Eastern Ontario/Western Quebec needs trailer servicing my company does it as well. We do lots of them. www.primotrailersales.com

Best place to go is to Pearl River, NY. They serviced my enclosed trailex beautifully. Steve at Central Avenue Service is a super nice guy. Would highly recomend.
