Default Watching F-1 and ALMS/Le Mans online

Perhaps someone here can help me? I recently dropped my cable subscription and now I need to find a way to watch my beloved racing online. I have spent time looking and am aware of some sites in the UK and Germany but it seems that you have to be a resident. I have also tried the various online TV sites like TVU player etc. but they aren't reliable.

Paying to watch isn't a problem as I did manage to find the following sites but again, they don't seem to be reputable.

www.live-racing.tv/ www.watchf1.net/ watchliveformula1.com/

If anyone has any insights I would really appreciate it.

I get torrents from a private site because I can't stand the US coverage of F1. They also host ALMS/LMS/Asian LMS/LMS intercont coverage. I don't have any invites right now but occasionally they leak out on a public tracker, especially the F1 coverage. Try searching www.scrapetorrent.com

I watched all of last season's F1 broadcasts on BBC. They were excellent!

You can download the torrents or can watch directly through iPlayer on BBC with some software gizmos that fool it into thinking you're in the UK.

Thanks for the information Ilko.
I think I will go the BBC route as their coverage is good. Do you know where I can find these "software gizmos" that your referring to? I hate to ask but I haven't been able to find anything.

It's called a proxy. You can google it and there are different alternatives depending on your browser, operating system, etc.

I have been looking at UK proxy servers but keep running into compatability issues with my Mac. I'm sure you're aware that there are many providers but finding one that is reliable is key.

In my stupidity I thought I would be able to find a site where I could pay to play. I never thought it would be this difficult when I dropped our beloved TWC.
