So how about it, are you still contemplating my proposed bet or are you spending another year throwing rocks from the sidelines?

No changing picks in here after qualifying Wayno and no picking after the race is over. I realize those are two of you favorite things, but the system won't allow it.

I've been doing this Fantasy F1 for a number of years now: http://www.fantasyleaguef1.com/Index.aspx
It's very well run and out of the UK. Cost is only £10 (roughly $15) for the entire season per entry. They've got some great prizes (a buddy of mine won once for top weekly score and my first season our league almost won a year's supply of Fosters...that would've been fun to split up!).
The game is very simple. They give you a budget and you pick 6 drivers and one manufacturer. Scoring is similar to actual race points with some fun twists (extra for fastest race lap, beating teammate, moving up spots from qualifying, etc.). Easy to learn too, since the first 3 races are a practice season with unlimited changes and then everyone begins at zero again in race #4 with 20 changes allowed for the season.

You compete in 3 ways: against everyone else (thousands of people), against your friends in your own "league", and as a league against other leagues. So, 3 ways to win prizes/bragging rights.
Our "Friends & Enemies League" is called "Low Octane Racing", PIN: 119. All are welcome to join.
Cheers,
Holger
