Default Out for a Saturday Drive at Winterfest.....

Just puttering around when all of a sudden BAM. I survived the start of the 88 car field in the enduro, but was tapped after the start in T-1. Welcome to racing.

Sucks. How was your racing otherwise?

This was my "official" first weekend and it was a ton of fun. I think I placed 1st in class for the 90 min enduro on Friday, then had a VERY close call saturday AM practice (another car bounced off tires near track out of T-17 and nearly collected me. The tap on saturday F-d my rear alignment so I had a little crab thing working for the remainder of the weekend which was not optimal for good results.

Looking forward to PCA 48-hours

Lots of rubber. How's your alignment?

Great avatar Dave!

First Dave: the SM in front of the wheel is pushed in, hard to see. The actual wheel has a bit ot toe-in by looks and will be checked this week at the shop. We are also going to look very closely at all suspension bits (BTW I just installed new multi-adjustable dampers, aRGHHHH) and replace as needed. I see no good reason to put either myself or my competitors at risk. I just wish others would ensure their equipment was in working order and properly attached.

VR-Thanks
