Default Looking for roof mount for bullet camera

I'm looking for a secure/safe & low profile way to mount a bullet camera to the roof of my car - I just can't find anything.

It needs to be secure (it's going on a race car). I've seen a couple of mounts that use suction cups or velcro - I don't think they will hold up & both of the ones I found are too tall.

Weatherproof would be a plus.

Any suggestions?

Thanks much,

Rick

Take a look at the POV camera. I think it's weather proof and various mounts are available. You may have to drill a small hole in the roof, but I think you'd have to do that regardless.

if yer not shy about using glues, Goop RV. adhesion is spectacular but still removeable. try it with a suction cup mount. short of wall incident, it won't come off.

After sticking mine on the roof for a few years (with velcro), I finally changed my setup to a) reduce drag, and b) protect the cameras better. Now I have them mounted to the top of the cage inside the car, cop-car style (as far as locations) - one shooting through the windshield by the visor area, one at the top of the rear hatch.
