IMO you are over-confident. Just be very sure that you have either a title or other ironclad documents proving ownership, especially for race cars. Also expect to possibly have your cars in impound for a long, long time until many of the legal and criminal issues are resolved.

It's amazing how much effort it takes to get to being on top of the world, then it is soooo easy to make that step to slide right off! Yikes!

Guys, please... keep some things straight.
Farnbacher Loles is NOT the same as Flying Lizard. Flying Lizard won the ALMS championship in 2009. They share NOTHING here.
Farnbacher Loles won the 2009 Grand Am GT championship, with Keen and Werner.
The proposed facility at NJMP is TRG (The Racers Group, Kevin Buckler). Again, NOT Farnbacher. As a side note, I doubt you'll see anything but the sign and dirt there for a few years.
The people that will get screwed here are Farnbacher Loles employees as well as customers with deposit money down. If you own a car and Farnbacher serviced it, you still own it. There have been a number of east coast shops seeing roll backs show up and drop off such cars.
Just another reminder that racing is full of people that shouldn't be trusted by the glitz of their rigs and ability to bank roll alone.
I wonder what Horst Farnbacher thinks of all this?
